Happy Distaff Day!

The day after Twelfth Night is Distaff Day, the day that the spinners have to get back to work after their vacation over the twelve days of Christmas. By extension, this is also the day for fiberartists. 

So,

I plan to do some spinning later today.

I had an early appointment today with the dentist. After getting up in the middle of the night (which was still late), I rushed over there only to discover that the dentist's assistant was out sick and they couldn't do the fillings today.

So, I have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon, and instructions to call earlier and make sure that she's back and that they can do the work.

I'm going back to bed!
